Privacy Policy

SaunaSub (“we”, “us”) helps you discover local sauna sessions and links you out to each provider’s own booking page. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We are committed to collecting as little as possible.

What we collect

• No account, no personal information. SaunaSub requires no sign-up. We don’t collect your name, email, or phone number.
• Anonymous usage data. We record anonymous events — such as which sessions are viewed and when a “Book” button is tapped — to understand what’s useful. These are tied to a random device identifier, not to your identity.
• Approximate location (optional). If you allow it, we use your location only to sort nearby sessions by distance. It is never stored on our servers. If you deny it, the app works metro-wide.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not show ads (at this time).

Booking on provider sites

When you tap “Book,” we open the sauna provider’s own website or booking tool. Anything you enter there (payment, contact details) is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, not ours.

Analytics providers

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (PostHog) to process the anonymous usage events described above. No personally identifying information is sent to it.

Data requests

Because we don’t collect personal information or accounts, there’s typically nothing to delete. If you have a question or request, contact us at support@saunasub.com.

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the date above when we do.
